I Am Selling Cards!
Thank you for participating in the fundraiser. Below you’ll find answers to common questions about selling cards.
This page is for students and volunteers already selling cards. If you’re a group leader looking to start a fundraiser, visit I Want to Run a Fundraiser →
How Do You Sell Slice the Price Cards?
To sell Slice the Price Cards, approach friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers. Show them that each $20 card pays for itself with one use — a buy-one-get-one-free pizza at Domino's — and can be used again and again. Remind them that $10 of every card goes straight to your group's goal. Collect the money when they order. Cards come after the fundraiser ends, so there is nothing to hand out ahead of time.
Have a question we did not answer? Ask us from your My Events page.
The Slice the Price card can be used at Domino's locations in participating states. Each time it is used, the cardholder buys one large pizza at menu price and gets one large pizza free. Domino's makes the less expensive pizza or pizzas free.
Point your buyers to how to use your card for the full usage details.
You turn in the orders and money at the end, and your cards come back through your sponsor about two to three weeks later.
Every sale on a Digital fundraiser is online, so the cards ship straight to the buyer.
There is nothing to turn in.
Each Slice the Price card is valid for six months up to one year, depending on when your fundraiser begins.
Fundraisers starting between January 1 and June 30 expire December 31 of that year. Fundraisers starting between July 1 and December 31 expire June 30 of the following year.
If an adult, or a teen 13 or older, is selling cards themselves, they sign up as a participant. If a parent or guardian is signing up a child, the parent adds the child as a dependent on their own account. Each dependent gets their own store link, flyer, and prize picks. We ask teens to confirm they are 13 or older when they sign up.
Yes. Supporters can use their card on Dominos.com, in the Domino's app, in-store, or by phone at participating locations.
See how to use your card online for the full details.
Give your order form and the cash you collected to your sponsor, such as your coach, teacher, or group leader. Do not send cash to Platinum Fundraising. When the fundraiser ends, your sponsor turns in the order forms on My Events. Then the sales show up on the group's dashboard.
No. A digital fundraiser has no order forms, and we do not accept cash or paper orders. Every card is bought online. Share your store link or the info flyer, and have your supporters buy their cards online. Each online sale counts for you right away on the group's dashboard.
Prizes are sent to the organization with the free cards earned and order form sales (if applicable), so everything can be distributed together once the fundraiser is complete.
Gift card prizes come by email as they are won. Everything else arrives with the cards.
Yes. Your fundraiser has a live Fundraiser Dashboard. Under Supporters it names everyone who bought, grouped by how many cards each one bought, with donated cards listed separately. Anyone who chose to buy anonymously is counted in the totals but never named. Open your own row in the table of sellers to see just your buyers and how many cards each bought.
Sign in at account.slicethepricecard.com and press Dashboard next to your fundraiser.
Yes. Donated cards count as sales for a participant. Just pick that participant when the purchase is made.
Yes, cards can be used at any participating Domino's location across the country, not just near your group. The fundraiser is nationwide.
Contact us with the name of the person you want to add, remove, or update, along with your event or organization info, and we will make the change for you.
In each of the first two weeks of your fundraiser, if your group sells 100 cards or more that week, the student with the most sales that week wins a $50 gift card. To win, a student must be signed up as their own participant. Family or team entries counted under one name do not qualify. If more than one student ties for the top spot, they split the $50 evenly, no matter how many tie. We email the winner a link to claim the card. Click the Get my card button in that email, then pick the gift card you want.
Yes. There is also a national contest. Each week, the top 3 sellers in the whole country each win a $100 gift card. The week runs from Friday at 5 pm Eastern time to the next Friday. The group does not need to sell 100 cards for this one. To win, a participant must be registered and signed up on their own, not as a family or team. They must not be opted out of the national contest on the Profile page. You can see the top sellers at dominos.cards/leaders. We check the results when the week ends.
A participant needs three things. They must be registered. They must be signed up as an individual, not a family or team entry counted under one name. And they must not be opted out of the contest. To check the opt out, open the Profile page and make sure the switch that says "Opt out of this event's weekly gift card contest" is off for that participant. On the sales chart on the group's dashboard, a marker next to a name means that participant is not in the running.
Yes. A child added as a dependent counts as a participant. They can win the weekly gift card if they are registered, signed up on their own, and not opted out. Family or team entries do not count.
We email the gift card address given when the participant registered. If none was given, it goes to the account email. The email comes from Platinum Fundraising. Open it and click the Get my card button. A link then appears to pick the gift card from our gift card partner, Tango. After a participant has won, the card can also be claimed any time by logging in and going to My Rewards on the dashboard.
They still get a prize. When the fundraiser ends, the sponsor chooses for them. Contact us if they want a certain prize.
A tree prize means real trees get planted. When a participant earns a tree prize, Platinum Fundraising buys that many trees through our tree planting partner, Treeapp, and they are planted in forests around the world. Bigger prize levels plant more trees, from 1 tree at the smallest level up to 600 trees at the top level. You can see every tree our fundraisers have planted on our Treeapp page.
Yes. If a participant wins the weekly gift card, they get it with their one prize.
No. A participant gets one prize. It comes from the highest level they reach, unless they skipped that level when picking prizes. A participant can skip a higher level if they would rather have a lower level prize. Then they get their pick from the highest level below it that they did not skip. If more cards are sold after that prize ships, the new cards can earn a new prize of their own.
Yes. Once a prize has shipped, that prize is done and does not change. If more cards come in after that, the participant can earn a new prize for the new cards only. Customer Care checks it before it goes out. The new cards are counted on their own. For example, a participant who sold 50 cards and got their prize, then sells 10 more, earns the prize for 10 cards.
No. A prize that has shipped is never upgraded, swapped or topped up. New cards sold after it shipped earn their own prize, at the level the new cards reach. If the new cards do not reach the first prize level, there is no new prize.
No. Each participant can get one prize gift card per fundraiser. If their new cards reach a gift card level and they already got a prize gift card on this fundraiser, a second gift card is not sent.
